Cllr Nigel Coltman was the leader or this council when they attempted to bankrupt a citizen in 2003/04. His council made their decision working with other high level members of the council, cabinet members, and other interested councillors including Brian West (a mason) and Andrew Long.

This decision also included taking advice from officers of the council, to include Vic Scarpa, Trevor Scott and Daniel Goodwin. Other officers involved included David Phillips and Doug Moss, both of whom were caught tampering with photographic evidence that was going before the Courts - otherwise known as attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Not one of the councillors or officers involved lifted a finger to set the record straight, except to sack Christine Nuttall, leaving the situation hanging and once again liable to cost the tax payer significant sums where our National Debt is still in the £Trillions of pounds - because of failures like this multiplied by as many councils across the land.

A Court Order (by consent) was agreed between parties but not acted on, leaving Wealden in a potential contempt of court situation. The fact is that the historic asset concerned must be recognized and the council apologize for waging what amounts to a vendetta against the targeted citizen with so many officers in on it, that the episode qualifies as institutionalized discrimination.

One cabinet member failed to declare an interest in the matter, where other cabinet members of the Wealden District Council must have known that the member had acted wrongly, because this council had served papers on a member of the public who was living with the councillors daughter at the time. Hence, the officers who arranged for service of papers must also have known about the conflict of interest - that was not logged in the Register. We have a solicitor certified copy of the Register to prove the impropriety. We wonder then what Councillor Coltman has to say about this?
